The Gabbie Scheffer Foundation, INC., is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit that strives to educate the public about mental health and Substance Use Disorder.

Jeanne Dupont, our foundation's founder and CEO, explains how the Gabbie Scheffer Foundation came to be.

As a nonprofit, one of our primary goals is to help people overcome the shame they feel when they seek help for mental health and substance abuse issues.

Our goal of increasing public knowledge regarding mental illness and addiction can only be realized through extensive educational efforts.

The Gabbie Scheffer Foundation is a charitable organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. 

​

Our goal is to inform the general public about mental illness and addiction while also working to increase awareness of these issues. Scholarships for higher education and vocational training are available from our organization to recovering addicts as well as surviving family members of those who have passed away due to the effects of substance abuse.

 

Our mission is to provide vocational training/educational scholarships to those in recovery  and surviving children and siblings of Substance Use Disorder. Our goal is to save lives by educating the public on the dangers of Substance Use Disorder and reduce the stigma which is prevalent among the disease.
